Ambulance drivers who were rushed to the site of the Delhi blast recalled a dreadful scene as they ferried victims on Monday.

At least eight people were killed and 20 injured when a car exploded near the historic Red Fort in India’s capital, police said, a rare blast in the heavily guarded city of more than 30 million people.

“The bodies were in parts, and we had to pick different parts and bring them back in the ambulances, and later brought them to the hospital,” an ambulance driver at the scene said.
