FRANCE 24 English Zelensky holds talks with US negotiators, as fighting continues on the Ukrainian ground

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has signaled possible progress toward a peace agreement with Russia after what he described as a “really good conversation” with the US special envoy on Christmas Day, adding that he plans to meet Donald Trump soon to advance efforts to end the nearly four-year war. Recent talks between US and Ukrainian delegations have reportedly resulted in a 20-point proposal that has been sent to Moscow for feedback, even as fighting continues on the ground, with Russia launching more than 100 missiles into Ukraine overnight, as Charlotte Lam reports.
