Ukraine’s government has suspended Justice Minister German Galushchenko amid a corruption investigation in the energy sector. Seven individuals have been charged over a $100 million kickback scheme involving senior energy officials, fueling public anger. Galushchenko, formerly energy minister, was subject to investigative actions, though it’s unclear if these are directly linked to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau’s probe.
