French President Emmanuel Macron visited the flame of the Unknown Soldier under the Arc de Triomphe for a ceremony marking the 107th anniversary of the Armistice of 11 November 1918. The 11 November ceremonies mark the end of WWI but are also dedicated to all soldiers who have fallen for France, regardless of the conflict. FRANCE 24’s Antonia Kerrigan tells us more.
