Israel announced it would allow a ‘limited reopening’ of the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt once it recovers the last hostage’s remains. The reopening, part of a truce framework announced by US President Donald Trump, has been delayed since Israeli forces took control during the conflict. US envoys reportedly urged Israel to reopen the crossing, which is vital for aid delivery to Gaza.
