On Friday – the French Prime Minister survived not one – but two no confidence motions in Parliament. Both the far-left and the far-right were unhappy that Sebastien LeCornu’s forced through the income portion of a budget bill without a vote by MP’s.

We speak with Renaud Foucart, a senior lecturer in Economics at Lancaster University about the budget and the upcoming municipal elections.
