Zelensky meets troops, says Ukraine pushed back some Russian advances • FRANCE 24 English
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met troops in the eastern Donetsk region on Thursday (August 18) and announced his army had pushed back some of the advances Russia made over the summer. Zelensky said his troops had reclaimed 160 square kilometres (62 square miles) of land near the eastern coal mining town of Dobropillia.
