HIV-prevention drug to be available for $40 a year from 2027 • FRANCE 24 English
Generic versions of the twice-yearly HIV prevention injection lenacapavir will be available from 2027 for about $40 a year in over 100 low- and middle-income countries, Unitaid and the Gates Foundation announced Wednesday. Indian pharmaceutical firms will produce the drug under new agreements to expand affordable access.
