France’s Socialist Party does not reach out to hard-left as political crisis deepens • FRANCE 24
France’s Socialist party has called on President Emmanuel Macron to appoint a new PM from the left bloc. But a senior Socialist party official did not mention the hard-left France Unbowed party, notes FRANCE 24’s Claire Paccalin, reporting from outside Socialist Party headquarters. “We are seeing the contours of an emergence of a new alliance on the left, but one that does not include the far-left,” said Paccalin.
