China and South Africa deepen trade ties with new export deal • FRANCE 24 English
As the US raises tariffs on African nations, they are looking for new markets – and one relationship in particular is developing with China. In South Africa, a new trade deal is expected to relieve farmers after US-South African free trade deal expired end of September, as it is set to open up stone fruit exports. South Africa already sends 10 billion euros worth of exports to its strongest trade partner every year.
