3,000 Gaza survivors living in the Emirates Humanitarian City hope to rebuild lives there
Since the start of the war on October 7th 2023, the UAE has evacuated 3,000 Gazans; mostly families with injured or seriously ill children. Many are trying to rebuild a normal life. While some hope to return to their homeland, others now see their future in the Gulf. But with a fragile ceasefire in place in Gaza, the Emirates hope to repatriate these survivors if the situation stabilises.
