FOX 9 Minneapolis-St. Paul Quick-thinking woman saves raccoon from dumpster

This raccoon needed a hand (or a ladder) to escape a sticky situation, and one woman delivered!

Kaitlin A. Punches successfully freed the animal from a dumpster at her Michigan apartment complex using a baby gate as a makeshift ladder. Punches, who frequently rescues stuck raccoons, said, “I love animals and nature,” adding that her building’s maintenance man even calls her for assistance.
