LIVE | House voting on bill that could end longest-ever government shutdown

The House will vote on legislation Wednesday to end the longest government shutdown in the nation’s history. A deal to end the shutdown advanced through the House Rules Committee overnight, with all Republicans supporting the measure and all Democrats opposing it. FOX News reported that the legislation will get a House-wide “rule vote,” a procedural test that, if it passes, allows lawmakers to debate the legislation itself.
