FOX 9 Minneapolis-St. Paul ‘Holy sugar!’: Deer scares police officer during search for suspects

A police officer got quite the shock when a deer suddenly bounded toward him during a search for suspects.

The officer was sweeping his flashlight through a wooded area in Sandy Springs, Georgia, when the deer appeared, crashing into nearby bushes. Bodycam footage released by the Sandy Springs Police Department captured the officer’s startled reaction.

Officers were in the area responding to reports of two men allegedly attempting to open car door handles.
