FOX 5 Washington DC 2 dead after stabbing, officer-involved shooting on I-495 in Fairfax County

Dash camera video captured the aftermath of a car crash on I-495 Southbound between Gallows Road and Little River Turnpike Sunday before a tragic turn of events left 2 dead.

A Virginia State Trooper was dispatched following reports of a road rage incident, where he shot and killed a male suspect armed with a knife. Responding officers discovered four individuals who had been stabbed at the scene, according to state police.

One victim, a 39-year-old woman, later died from her injuries.
