Protests are planned Thursday across the U.S., including in Southern California, in response to an ICE agent killing Renee Good in Minneapolis yesterday.

One year ago, the Palisades and Eaton fires were raging out of control. The damage and fallout has motivated a local reality TV star to run for office.

Gov. Newsom is set to deliver his final state-of-the-state address this morning.
