Flying from Singapore? New rules for power banks from Apr 15
Something as small as your power bank could now hold up your flight.

From Apr 15, passengers can only bring two power banks on board. They are not allowed to charge or use them at all during the flight. Any extras have to be discarded before boarding.

The change comes as lithium batteries inside power banks can overheat or short-circuit — posing a fire risk on board aircraft.
