Indian Army Aviation helicopters of Fire & Fury Corps executed a night Casualty Evacuation from the Kongmaru La Pass on Thursday. The evacuation operation was done at an altitude of 17000 feet. After the evacuation, the foreign nationals were transferred to SNM Hospital, Leh, for further treatment. The operation involved two South Korean nationals, who fell critically ill near Kongmaru La, an isolated peak of Ladakh.
