Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov hosted his Indian counterpart, S Jaishankar, for talks in Moscow on Thursday. He said the relationship between the two countries was defined as a strategic partnership and noted that he was witnessing the emergence of a new infrastructure of international relations. Lavrov also announced that President Vladimir Putin will India by the end of this year. Meanwhile, Jaishankar said that the two leaders discussed the entire gamut of bilateral relations between India and Russia. He added that both the countries have reaffirmed their shared ambition to expand bilateral trade and jointly fight terrorism.
