#Firstpost Minneapolis Shooting LIVE: 2 Kids Killed in Shooting at Minneapolis School; Suspect’s Guns Found
At least two children were killed and 17 others injured in a mass shooting in the US state of Minnesota. Minneapolis police stated that the attacker, dressed in black, fired through the windows of a church using a rifle, shotgun, and pistol. The shooter later died by suicide in the church’s parking lot. The tragedy occurred while students were praying at the church to mark the start of the first week of classes at Annunciation Catholic School. The attacker, identified as Robin Westman, had also graduated from the same school in 2017. He had posted videos online that included a multi-page manifesto containing names and drawings of firearms. The shooter’s weapons carried text such as “Nuke India”, “Kill Trump”, and “Israel must fall”. The FBI said it was investigating the incident as an act of domestic terrorism and had briefed US President Donald Trump about the shooting. Following this, Trump ordered the US flag to be flown at half-staff until August 31.
