Madagascar Coup Leader Names New PM |Firstpost Africa | N18G
Following a military takeover that sent former President Andry Rajoelina fleeing, Madagascar’s new leader, Colonel Michael Randrianirina, has appointed businessman Herintsalama Rajaonarivelo as the country’s new prime minister. Randrianirina said that Rajaonarivelo, the former chairman of the Malagasy bank BNI, was chosen for his skills, experience, and strong relations with international organisations vital for Madagascar’s collaboration.
