US President Donald Trump began his second historic two-day state visit to the United Kingdom on Tuesday, arriving with First Lady Melania at the US Ambassador’s residence in London. During this visit, King Charles III is set to host Trump at Windsor Castle for a state dinner and a carriage ride. In addition, Trump will witness the largest military display by US and UK fighter jets. On Thursday, the US leader will meet Prime Minister Keir Starmer to hold talks on trade and the wars in Ukraine and Gaza. Both countries are expected to sign key investment agreements during these discussions. Notably, Trump is the first US President to be invited for two state visits to Britain, having previously been hosted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2019. Meanwhile, protests have erupted against Trump’s visit, with images and videos of the US President and convicted offender Jeffrey Epstein projected onto the walls of Windsor Castle. Following these protests, Thames Valley Police said four people had been arrested for a “public stunt in Windsor.”
