After two years of deadly war between Israel and Hamas, the militant group has finally released 20 living Israeli hostages. To mark the day, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump addressed the Israeli parliament. While Netanyahu thanked President Trump for facilitating the prisoner-hostage exchange, Trump rallied behind Netanyahu for his pardon by the ICC in the case of war crimes. Trump expressed his willingness to strike a nuclear deal with Iran. Hamas ensured to make a spectacle out of the prisoner exchange exercise as the entire event was televised, showcasing their members wielding guns and pulling out hostages from their armed vehicles. Trump’s deal required Israel to release Palestinian prisoners – at least 1,700 detainees from Gaza, 250 other Palestinian prisoners and some 38 buses to take them home. Watch to know more.
