Japan: Mount Fuji got the season’s first snowfall on Thursday (October 23), 21 days later than usual, according to the Kofu Local Meteorological Observatory. While this snowfall was significantly delayed compared to the average, it still occurred 15 days earlier than the season’s first snowfall in 2024, which was the latest in 130 years according to Japan’s Meteorological Agency.
