United Nations Secretary-General Antonia Guterres, UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, UK’s Prince William, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Barbados’ Prime Minister Mia Mottley, French President Emmanuel Macron, Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, among other leaders, urged to meet the the goal of the Conference of the Parties (COP), which is to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels, as established by the Paris Agreement.
