Security agencies in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama have demolished the two-storey house of Dr Umar Nabi, the bomber who allegedly detonated the car near Delhi’s Red Fort. Officials said the house was brought down during an overnight operation between Thursday and Friday.

The action followed confirmation that DNA samples recovered from the Delhi blast site matched those of Nabi’s mother. Once the match was established, security forces carried out a controlled demolition of the residence.

The explosion near the Red Fort on Monday killed 13 people and injured several others.
