Severe Typhoon Ragasa made landfall in Southern China’s Yangjiang city on Wednesday. The storm triggered widespread damage, flooding, and evacuations. In Guangdong province, nearly 2.2 million people were relocated, railway services were suspended, and schools and businesses were closed in at least 10 cities in southern China. The country has also allocated $49.2 million in disaster relief as the storm continues its path in China.
