Exploring the Ye Jianying Memorial Park #CGTN

Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, on Friday visited the Ye Jianying Memorial Park in Meixian District of Meizhou, south China’s Guangdong Province, to learn about local efforts to promote revolutionary culture and support old revolutionary base areas. Ye Jianying, who commanded the First Military Commission, is commemorated at the site.
Located in Huxing Village, the Ye Jianying Memorial Park includes the Ye Jianying Memorial Museum and his former residence. Built and opened to the public in May 2007, the park honors his revolutionary legacy.
