Expert: Europe calls for strategic autonomy, but is trapped in dependency dilemma
Hu Zichen, a research associate at the Oxford Global Society, says the 2026 Munich Security Conference looked at reclaiming Europe’s strategic autonomy and reflects the deep-seated tensions in U.S.–EU relations.
