Exclusive: Israeli strikes on Iran trigger explosions in multiple provinces, airspace closed
On February 28, Israel’s defense minister announced that Israel had launched preemptive strikes on Iran. On the same day, explosions were reported in the country’s capital Tehran. Multiple provinces across Iran also heard blasts, but no casualties have been reported so far. Iran’s Civil Aviation Authority says the country’s airspace is closed until further notice. Li Jiannan, CMG reporter in Tehran, has not observed any new explosions or attacks as yet.
