Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said that Assam has witnessed remarkable development over the last ten years and expressed confidence that the people of the state are set to bless the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) once again. Addressing a public gathering in Gogamukh, he said the enthusiasm among citizens clearly reflected their support for continued growth and stability.
The Prime Minister reiterated that this election would shape the vision of a developed India. “This time election is to be make Viksit Bharat (Developed India)… The BJP will form government again in Assam and make a hat-trick,” he added. His comments came as the party intensified its campaign efforts across the state for the upcoming Assembly elections scheduled to take place on April 9.
