Mamata Banerjee, too, was present in Malda today; she continued to lash out at the BJP over the Malda incident. Didi is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the message from Malda resonates with Muslims across the entirety of Bengal. Rahul Gandhi, Owaisi, Humayun Kabir, and Abbas Siddiqui are also working in accordance with this very strategy. Ultimately, it is Malda that will determine which direction the Muslim vote in Bengal will swing.
