Defense Acquisition Council Approves ₹79,000 Cr for Indian Defense | Army, Navy & Air Force Upgrade　 #ETNOW

The Defense Acquisition Council (DAC), chaired by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, has approved proposals worth ₹79,000 crore to strengthen India’s Army, Navy, and Air Force.

Key approvals include the NAG missile system, high mobility vehicles, four Landing Platform Docks, 3mm naval guns, advanced lightweight torpedoes, and the Collaborative Long Range Target System.

These initiatives are part of the Make in India program to achieve Atmanirbhar Bharat in defense, boosting domestic defense production and modernizing India’s armed forces across all terrains.
