CPPCC member highlights China’s achievements during 14th Five-Year Plan
A member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) said China’s achievements during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025) had been extraordinary and exceptional.

Guo Lanfeng, also president of the China Society of Economics Reform, made the remarks during a group interview ahead of the opening meeting of the fourth session of the 14th CPPCC National Committee at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Wednesday.

Guo said China’s economy has continuously moved up four stages, reaching a total volume of 140 trillion yuan and firmly holding the position of the world’s second-largest economy.
