Wildfire scorches historic California gold mining town
A wildfire scorched thousands of acres and burned homes in Chinese Camp, a California Gold Rush town settled around 1850 by miners from China. CalFire said the blaze was started by lightning and was just one of more than a dozen wildfires that ignited across California on Tuesday.
