Thomas Jacob Sanford, the Marine veteran who killed at least four people and injured 8 others at the Michigan Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Sunday, harbored a deep resentment against the faith that stemmed from a breakup with an LDS girlfriend more than a decade ago, a childhood friend told CNN.
