CNA White House says US military is “always an option” to acquire Greenland

The White House says President Donald Trump is considering a range of options to take control of Greenland and has not ruled out military action. Greenland and Denmark have called for urgent talks with the US to quote – “clear up certain misunderstandings” over the territory. President Trump described control of Greenland as an “absolute necessity”
for US national security. Denmark has previously rejected Mr Trump’s assertion that it is unable to protect its former colony. Will Denselow reports from Brussels, on how European leaders are responding to Washington’s threats.
