CNA ‘We cannot take things for granted’: Lions head coach Gavin Lee on Singapore-Bangladesh match

“A game is only as important as we make it out to be,” said Lions head coach Gavin Lee on Tuesday (Mar 31), ahead of Singapore’s final Asian cup qualifier against Bangladesh that evening, which has been dubbed a “dead rubber”.

Despite having secured qualification, Singapore have yet to win at home.

“We are serious about our preparations to do something that’s further down the line, and we cannot take things for granted,” Lee said. “We cannot lose that chance.”
