CNA Trump says US will pause migration from ‘Third World countries’ after Washington DC attack

US President Donald Trump said his administration will “permanently pause” migration from all “Third World countries”. This, after a soldier died in an attack near the White House, which authorities said was carried out by an Afghan national who had overstayed his visa. Mr Trump said the suspension will allow the system to recover from previous illegal admissions. Toni Waterman reports from Washington DC.
