CNA Supporting social service workers: S$15m fund to help well-being of domestic violence professionals

A boost for more than a thousand social service professionals who are helping families affected by domestic violence. A new S$15 million fund – called the Protection Practitioners Care Fund – has been set aside to support their well-being over the next five years. The fund can be used for initiatives such as therapy, mentorship and even wellness leave – part of broader moves to strengthen support for the social service sector. Alif Amsyar reports.
