CNA STB executive director Poh Chi Chuan on boosting Singapore’s MICE sector

Singapore is stepping up its push to bring in more meetings, conferences and exhibitions. A new practical guide is being developed with trade groups and chambers to help them plan and run events. The Singapore Tourism Board also wants to triple receipts from the MICE sector, as it says business travellers tend to spend around twice as much as leisure visitors. Beatrice Yap speaks to Mr Poh Chi Chuan, STB’s executive director of exhibitions and conferences.
