CNA Sleeping man who fell from 10th floor flat in India rescued after getting caught in grilles

A 57-year-old man in Surat, India narrowly escaped death after falling from his 10th-floor window while sleeping near it, his leg getting caught on the window grilles of a flat two floors below.

Local media reported that the man was left hanging upside down in agony for about an hour before firefighters arrived and rescued him using ropes and a safety belt. He was safely brought into the 8th-floor apartment and later rushed to hospital. #india #indianews
