CNA Singapore must retain ability to say ‘no’, take difficult stands: Vivian Balakrishnan

Foreign Affairs Minister Vivian Balakrishnan said Singapore must retain the ability to say “no” or risk losing its relevance and independence on the world stage. He added that, in a more turbulent world, decisions must be guided by national interests as pressure mounts and attempts are made to divide society. Sherlyn Seah reports, while Mr Balakrishnan was also in the CNA studio to share about the immediate realities that Singapore must come to terms with while navigating a new era.
