CNA Singapore dealers scramble for inventory as silver prices surge

Physical silver is getting harder to find in Singapore. Silver dealers are scrambling to secure stock, with waitlists stretching months and investors rushing into the white metal. Silver posted an exceptionally strong rally in 2025, soaring 161% to record highs and outperforming most precious metals, including gold. One bullion dealer said sales of gold and silver jumped nearly six-fold from November to December. However, economists say the impact on consumers is likely to be limited — at least for now.
