Senior Indonesian ministers are set to meet their US counterparts in Washington later today for tariff talks. Jakarta will offer a series of strategic measures to balance trade. Indonesia posted nearly US$18 billion of trade surplus with the US last year โ with electronics, clothing and footwear the leading export products. This led to the US imposing a 32% tariff on Indonesian exports. President Prabowo Subianto has said Indonesia is ready to buy US$18 billion worth of US products. Saifulbahri Ismail reports.
