CNA Russia’s first AI robot falls face-first seconds after unveiling

🤖 This was the moment Russia’s first artificial intelligence (AI) humanoid robot fell on stage just seconds after its official debut at a technology event in Moscow on Monday (Nov 10).

Videos circulating on social media showed the robot, AIdol staggering onto the stage and raising its hand to wave at the crowd. Moments later, it lost balance and toppled over, scattering parts on the stage. Staff were seen rushing to hide the robot behind a screen as it was removed from the stage.

The robotics firm Idol, which developed AIdol, later said that the fall was attributed to poor lighting and calibration issues, adding that the humanoid is still undergoing testing. #aidol #russia #russianews
