CNA Philippines mayor survives rocket launcher attack

A mayor in the Philippines survived a rocket launcher attack on his vehicle on Sunday (Jan 25). Shariff Aguak Mayor Akmad Ampatuan was reportedly unharmed, but two members of his security detail were injured.

Three gunmen were killed during a pursuit, with another suspect still at large, according to Inquirer.net.
