PAP newcomer Shawn Loh replaces Heng Chee How in Jalan Besar slate
“The elder brother I never had”: Minister for Digital Development and Information Josephine Teo praised Senior Minister of State for Defence Heng Chee How on Wednesday (Apr 16), as it was announced that he will not be part of the People’s Action Party’s slate for Jalan Besar GRC in the upcoming Singapore General Election. Mr Heng has been MP for Jalan Besar GRC since 2001.
Replacing him in the four-member team is former senior civil servant Shawn Loh, who was director of security and resilience programmes at the Ministry of Finance and was also the Budget director for 2024 and 2025. #sgnews #singapore #GE2025
