CNA [LIVE] US President Trump gives ‘important update on Iran’ in address to nation

US President Donald Trump will address the nation at prime-time at 9pm on Wednesday (9am Thursday, Apr 2 Singapore-Hong Kong), to give an “important update on Iran” according to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.

It comes after Trump told reporters in the White House that the US could leave Iran “very soon”, within “two to three weeks” and that Iran doesn’t have to make a deal. The US and Israel attacked Iran on Feb 28, and there have been questions on the US’ exit plans for Iran.
