CNA Japan-China spat hits Japanese stocks, tourism and seafood exports

China could ban seafood from Japan, in what appears to be the latest entanglement amid a widening diplomatic spat.

The tensions have also affected Japan’s stock market, causing stocks to dip and the yen to depreciate.

Tourism has also been hit, with more than half a million Japan-bound plane tickets being cancelled.
